In Line Manual Reviews of Case

Problem

Currently, cases cannot be pulled for review by Supervisors or Quality Assurance (QA) Reviewers until the case is closed. This is the first step in creating In Line (or in process) reviews.

User Needs

Supervisors and QA Reviewers need to be able to pull a case for review while it is processing. They then need to be able to create a review on those cases, make a decision as to whether or not the case needs major improvement (Deficient), can continue processing (Clean), or needs information sent to the Disability Examiner (DE). The DE needs to be able to see that the case is under review and to see the result of that review. They also need to be able to respond to the review result and act accordingly.

The Solution

Working with another designer, we created the In Line Review Ad Hoc review screens. A reviewer can manually pull a case for review, make a decision on that review, and then the DE can see the review and take action once the reviewer has sent their recomendations.

User Feedback

Note: this design is still under development, so feedback is limited.

“Looks good Emily… well done DCPS team!” Actual feedback from a user after presenting the screens during a Nationwide User group call with over 100+ users.
